Buckle Up! ~ Sports Car Boudoir Photography ~ Vancouver, WA

Have you been thinking about booking a boudoir photography session for yourself? Want to have an experience where you embrace your body, build your self-confidence, and walk away from the session with STUNNING photos to either keep for yourself or show off?

Maybe that all sounds great to you, but there’s one issue…

You’re just not quite sure what kind of session you’re imagining for yourself! You’ve seen a couple examples of boudoir shots, but you’re needing some inspiration to give you ideas and help you decide on the right type of photography session for you.

If you do need some inspiration, you’ve come to the right place! When it comes to boudoir sessions, there are outdoor sessions, shower sets, bedroom shoots, and even sessions that allow us to showcase a hobby of your own.

Luckily, between all of the boudoir photography shoots I’ve had with my clients, we have plenty of inspiration for you… Feel free to check out my online photo gallery or other blog posts to get inspired and grab some ideas for your session!

As you’ll see, the options for your shoot are endless, so it may be a bit difficult to pick out your favorite idea. Take it from my client, though… Once you find photos that REALLY inspire or excite you, you won’t have any issues when the time comes to choose your session type.

My client actually ended up reaching out to me after seeing photos from another one of my boudoir photography sessions. She’s friends with one of my recent clients who requested a boudoir shoot featuring her husband’s motorcycle… As you can see, we had SO much fun on set, and those photos are so unique, too!

My client loved the motorcycle session so much that she also wanted to book a boudoir photography session! Instead of including a motorcycle, though, she asked if we could use her husband’s Corvette. Of course, I immediately loved this idea! Once we worked out the initial details of her shoot and I understood her vision for the photos, I started scouting possible locations for the session. I ended up finding a local park that I thought would be a great location for the photos, and we used a large parking lot that I found right by this park.

On the day of the session, we actually also shot some photos in my photography studio. We went with the living room set and bedroom set in the studio alongside the Corvette shots we took outside. The photos that were taken in the living room were some of my favorites! We decided to use a mirror when taking a few photos in the living room, and this allowed us to capture my client from two different angles… It was great that you could see her expression through the view in the mirror!

When the time came to take the outdoor boudoir photos, we drove to the parking lot of the local park I found, and we quickly got started! Many of the shots we took ended up being edited in black and white to add a classic yet sensual feel to the photos. On top of the black and white editing, my client’s red-soled shoes and style added a ton to the mood of these pictures! All of these elements came together to create photos that looked so sleek, sexy, and classy.

If you’re ever feeling inspired to have your very own boudoir shoot but just can’t decide on the type of session you’d like, don’t hesitate to take a look at other photos, props, and sets for inspiration! It can be easy to feel a bit overwhelmed while considering all of the options, so just keep this in mind…

Notice your own level of excitement when looking through the inspiration photos! What types of of backdrops or themes make you feel like you can’t wait to step in front of the camera and get started? Once you find that type of boudoir session that makes you feel like you need to book ASAP, you know where to find me!
