Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone ~ Boudoir Photography ~ Vancouver, WA

When was the last time you stepped outside of your comfort zone? Take a second to think about it… When was the last time you switched up your daily routine, tried something new, and really put yourself out there?

As we stay busy with our families, education, and careers, it can be SO easy to fall into a routine and forget to shake things up! I love a good routine that we can depend on from day to day, but it can sometimes lead to staying just a bit too comfortable with our habits, hobbies, and plans.

For these reasons, I couldn’t wait for this particular boudoir session! My client wanted to do something that would allow her to step outside of her comfort zone, have fun, and take some time to herself… and she did just that!

I knew my client was trying something new, so I especially wanted to make sure to add elements to the boudoir sets that would make her feel right at home! Before the session, my clients fill out a Pre-Session Questionairre where they are given the opportunity to select different elements to customize their sets… things like sheet colors, or special set-ups that they’d like to use. This client said that she wanted to experience my shower set (which, if I’m being honest, has quickly become one of my favorites!).

For any boudoir session, choosing clothing, lingerie, and accessories that you feel comfortable and confident in is KEY.
