/As a photographer who offers brand photography packages, I’ve been lucky to meet a huge variety of business owners in the Pacific Northwest! Each of these incredibly hard working individuals ends up inspiring me during our sessions, but I have to admit... I’m especially inspired by professionals who make client relationships their very top priority!
And that’s exactly who I found when I met Korrie Hicks! Korrie is the Principal Broker and Owner of KOR Realty, a real estate company based in Gresham, Oregon. Korrie serves the Greater Portland area, so whether you’re looking to live in Hillsboro, Newberg, or Vancouver... Korrie can help!
From the minute I met Korrie and learned about her offerings, she made it clear that she’ll always go the extra mile for her clients... whether that means assisting with home staging or even treating her clients to movers and a truck. (Yep... You heard that right! It’s a complimentary service for each client!) This desire to go above and beyond for her clients is what Korrie calls her “rock star agent superpower.” I was lucky enough to see this superpower in action during our first photography session together!
Korrie is one of my brand story subscription clients, which means that I’ll now be working with her monthly to capture content for her business! As part of my brand story offerings, I capture business owners in action as they do what they do best. I act like the “paparazzi” while I document them assisting clients, creating their products, or working in their personal workspace. The best part? Any photos that we take are for my clients to use on their social media accounts or websites!
Because Korrie works in real estate, I’ll be able to capture her as she hosts an open house or interacts with clients during a showing. I can even take headshots for her! The options are endless, and I’m so happy we’ll be working together for multiple months to capture content.
For our first photography session together, Korrie invited me to her client’s move-in day! Remember when I said that Korrie helps each client move by providing a moving team and truck on the house? Well, here’s what a move-in day looks like with Korrie! And let me tell you... She has a TON of fun with this process!
Korrie brought a U-Haul truck and the movers straight to her client so all of their boxes and furniture could be loaded up. After the truck was filled, it was time to drive over to the client’s new home, and this is where the fun started. To keep everyone in good spirits while unpacking, she dressed up in a unicorn outfit! As you can see in these shots, she played around with the movers and made sure that there were plenty of laughs and positive energy going around. Plus, when the Domino’s driver arrived to deliver pizza, she got a special hug from Korrie in the unicorn outfit! Korrie put a huge smile on the driver’s face and brightened her day, too.
After having some fun in the costume, it was time for Korrie to help with unpacking! She goes the extra mile on move-in days by offering to set up any items or pieces of furniture that can make her clients’ lives easier. This time around, she helped put together the couple’s bed to make sure they would have somewhere to sleep that night. After doing this, she stayed to help until the whole truck was unloaded and the job was finished!
Korrie truly puts the needs of her clients first, and she does so with a smile on her face and a go-getter attitude. Leading a relationship-centered business with passion and enthusiasm is what makes KOR Realty stand out.
